Lalitha is the founder and managing trustee of Gauri Foundation. She has 28 years of experience in the fields of Education, Industry, Academic Research, Public Finance and State Planning. Her research interests span Public Finance, Disaster Management, International Economics, Rural / Tribal Development. Being an accomplished professional in Economics she has organized and chaired several national and international conferences. All through her career she has been working on issues related to women & children and even taken up academic/student projects related to women empowerment and rural development.
Rajeev Kumar Khurana
(Trustee & Co-Founder )
Rajeev is the cofounder and trustee of Gauri Foundation. He is a seasoned management professional and business strategist with over 30 years of experience in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology industry. He has been involved in setting up and managing business presence of global pharmaceuticals in India. He has a track record of leading new business initiatives and effectively catalyzing growth of the enterprises. He has been educated in Veterinary Sciences from COVS, CCSHAU Hisar, Biotechnology from AIIMS, Delhi and International Business Management (MBA) from Thunderbird, USA. During his professional engagement in the pharmaceuticals and biotechnology industry, he has developed deep understanding of the state of healthcare facilities available in the country and unmet medical needs.

MR. M.G.GOPAL I.A.S. (Retd.) - Honorary Chairman
Mr. Gopal has made significant contribution to the development of States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. In his last role as Special Chief Secretary of Revenue Department and previously as the Special Chief Secretary, Municipal Administration & Urban Development, Government of Telangana, he took a lead in bringing reforms resulting in growth of Real Estate sector in Telangana State and helped the state achieve highest rank among all states in Ease of Doing Business. During his earlier role as Principal Secretary to Government of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Gopal was in-charge of the Education Department and led the transformation of Admission and fee regulation process of Higher & Technical Education in the state. During 2005 – 2009, he held the responsibility of Secretary to HE The Governor of Andhra Pradesh and gained insights into the operations of various wings of the sate i.e. the Executive, Legislature and the Judiciary.
He has the unique distinction of managing overall operations of Tirumala TirupatiDevasthanam in his capacity of Executive Officer and as a trust member earlier. As EO, TTD, he successfully implemented the currently popular 3 level Q system and prior allocation of predictable Darshan slots thereby eliminating uncertainty for the devotees. He actively contributed to setting up of Sri Venkateswara Vedic University in Tirupati. Mr. Gopal as the Managing Director of HMWSSB, improved the finances and made it credit worthy. He led a team which conceived, designed, implemented and commissioned the first phase Krishna drinking water supply scheme to twin cities in 2004.
He brings a wealth of experience from his tenure as Commissioner of Environment Protection Training and Research Institute, Hyderabad and making it technically, commercially and financially sustainable while working in close collaboration with Swedish International Development & Cooperation Agency (SiDA). As the Joint Chief of Project Monitoring Unit in the State Finance and Planning department, Mr Gopal’s team managed and completed the World Bank group assisted US$ 385 Million multi sector A.P Cyclone Emergency Reconstruction project (1992-95) in time without overruns. His hands on expertise while leading Integrated Tribal Development Agency in Warangal, and later AP Social welfare residential Educational institutions society, would specially remain highly valuable for Gauri Foundation while pursuing its objectives of Healthcare and Education in rural communities.
