

The Journey at Yadaram Health Centre :
14th April, 2022: Deliberations on Health and Skill Development
Deliberations were held by Dr. LalithaPrakky with the village Sarpanch (Head of Village) of Yadaram village and Panchayat members on aspects of healthcare, education and Skill Development facilities for village residents.




1st May, 2022: Guest Lecture delivered by Dr. Shyamasundar, Senior Cardiologist from AIIMS, Bibinagar, Telangana on Sun Strokes and Heart Diseases: Preventive Measures and First Aid Practices for village residents.

14th May, 2022: Meeting on Issues with Skill Development and Measures
A Meeting was held for women and young girls from the village to deliberate on issues related to Skill Development and Measures to understand the issues and concerns of the young females towards developing ways of addressing the concerns and finding solutions.


During the intervening period of June and July, deliberations with village Panchayat (group pf 5 village heads) and surveys were carried on the need for the health center in and around Yadaram village to identify a suitable location for the Health Centre.



25th August, 2022: Inauguration Day Puja – Puja was performed for inauguration of the Health Center in presence of village Sarpanch, key Panchayat members and management staff from Medicover Hospitals group.







28th August, 2022: Inauguration of Health Centre by Honourable Shri Raja Shekhar Reddy, In-charge of Malkajgiri Parliamentary Working Committee of TRS Party.







11th October, 2022: Medical camp by Pediatrician from CMR Medical College Hospital for inauguration of the Free Monthly Health Check-Up Program for Aanganwadi and Government Primary School children for monitoring their growth and health parameters. The event was covered by local media channels of Telangana:


Regular health check-up and growth parameters have been monitored on a monthly basis for a total of 100 school children



30th October, 2022: Medical camp conducted by a team of Gynecologist and General Physician from CMR Medical Hospital for health checkup and screening of village women




20th November, 2022: Medical camp conducted by Orthopedician and general physician from Medicover Hospitals, Hyderabad.




27th November, 2022: LV Prasad Eye Institute Ophthalmologists visited Yadaram Center:
The Ophthalmologists screened a total of 80 patients for eye conditions. Five patients were diagnosed with severe eye problems. Those requiring immediateintervention to prevent permanent loss of vision were taken to LVPEI and operated by the eye surgeons free of cost.


2nd December, 2022: First eye surgery performed on a Yadaram village woman by LVPEI surgeons in an emergency to save the patient from permanent loss of eyesight.

13th December, 2022: Eye surgery performed on additional Yadaram village residents by LVPEI surgeons for urgent treatment of eye conditions.
